Orgeat Iced Tea - Gin Cocktail Recipe
A distinctive drink - Beefeater 24 Gin mixed with home-made almond iced tea.
The recipe
Ingredients
- 60ml/ 2 parts Beefeater 24 Gin
- 75ml/ 3 parts English Breakfast tea (chilled)
- 10ml/ 0.5 parts orgeat syrup / almond syrup
- Pink grapefruit wedge and a wheel to garnish
Method
Glass: Collins or Highball.
Pour all ingredients into a glass over ice. Squeeze the wedge of grapefruit into the glass and discard. Lastly stir and garnish with a grapefruit wheel (use half a wheel if your grapefruit is a large one).
Notes
You can experiment by adding different flavoured syrups to your tea.
