Martinez - Gin Cocktail Recipe
A precursor to the Martini, this is a sweeter, richer cocktail
The recipe
Ingredients
- 30ml/ 1 part Beefeater Gin
- 60ml/ 2 parts sweet vermouth
- 5ml/1 bar spoon Maraschino liqueur
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- Quarter slice of lemon to garnish
Method
Glass: Cocktail.
Stir all ingredients with ice until ice-cold, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a quarter of a slice of lemon.
