Blushing Tease - Gin Cocktail Recipe
Created for sharing, this is a fresh yet complex warm-weather punch.
The recipe
Ingredients
- 60ml/ 2 parts Beefeater Gin
- 30ml/ 1 part lemon juice (fresh)
- 30ml/ 1 part sugar syrup
- 15ml/ 0.5 parts lemon sherbet
- 120ml/ 4 parts green tea
- 8 raspberries
- Dash orange bitters
- Dash Maraschino liqueur
- Mint sprig, raspberries and a lemon wedge to garnish
Method
Glass: Punch Bowl & Cups.
Put all the ingredients in a shaker and muddle gently. Then shake with rock ice and pour over ice in a glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint, fresh raspberries and a wedge of lemon.
These quantities serve 2 but can be easily increased for larger groups.
Notes
Lemon sherbet recipe: grate the zest of 12 lemons and add 200g of caster sugar. Muddle together and then add 600ml of lemon juice. Heat if needed to dissolve the sugar and then strain.
